It’s zero dark thirty, and no, I’m not in Afghanistan hunting for Osama bin Laden. I’m in the band car driving (Rebecca’s driving) through the wilds of Appalachia, or whatever the place is that’s between South and North Carolina. We had a great show tonight, and we’ll be able to unwind and sleep at our hotel before waking up and being in the car for most of Sunday.
Long drives are…. not pleasant. It is not anybody’s idea to spend most of their day in a car, confined and trapped, except that it does facilitate getting places. Bonus if you like your company. Most of the drive is quiet, except for the clicking of fingers on laptops, fingers that are typing messages flying into the inter-webs. Having a wireless hotspot, and being able to surf the web and work/watch cat videos while in the car is a complete game changer. Ok... time for bed! We got in around 12:45AM, and we're leaving at 9AM.
Did I mention it’s late? Ok, signing off!
